Matlab 2008b and 2009a has a severe fault that may cause corrupt reading of EISCAT raw data
We have discovered a severe fault on the latest versions of Matlab, 2008b and 2009a. Reading raw EISCAT data (.mat format) will result in corrupt data on 64-bit Intel machines. For those with account at Mathworks more details can be found here
We are investigating other environments to run Guisdap and RTG, as a result of the fault.
