Document Actions
The EISCAT Scientific Association was established in 1975 and its first incoherent scatter radar system became operational in 1981. Since then, the facilities of the EISCAT Scientific Association, which have been continuously developed and extended and today comprise three World-class radars and a powerful ionospheric heating facility. EISCAT is registered as a non-profit organisation in Sweden and its governing rules, including the function of Council, are laid down in an Agreement between the EISCAT Associates.
