Rules of the Road

EISCAT data are normally provided freely to all users, however users downloading data must agree to respect our rules of the road. Data copied to other databases, archives, distributors, etc. are also covered by the same rules.

EISCAT Associates' Data Representatives

Each EISCAT Associate nominates one point of contact for data purposes. EISCAT will accept data requests from, and send data to, the nominated person who acts on behalf of all users within that Associate's user community.

EISCAT Associates' Scheduling Representatives

Each EISCAT Associate nominates one point of contact for schedule purposes. EISCAT will accept approved scheduling requests from, and provide scheduling information to, the nominated person who acts on behalf of the user community within that Associate and implements the individal Associate's procedures governing special programme time allocation.

A limited amount of observing time on the EISCAT facilities is available for international competition by peer-review
